So, What is mental health?

Mental health is to do with the way we think and feel.

We can think of it as our emotional wellbeing.

Did you know that our mental health can change in the same way our physical health can?


To support our emotional wellbeing, relationships play an important role. They help us live happier and longer lives with fewer physical and mental health problems.

As parents, there are so many things we can do to support the emotional well-being of our kids.

Emotional wellbeing has four key parts

  1. Self-awareness;
  2. Managing our emotions;
  3. Empathy;
  4. and Social skills.
